Peru's Bowman makes noise at bowling states
PLATTSBURGH — Peru's Jonathan Bowman and the Beekmantown boys' team made the biggest noise for Section VII at this past weekend's NYSPHSAA Bowling Championships, held at Strike-n-Spare Lanes in Syracuse.

ROUSES POINT — Jon Brown tossed a 235 game and 618 series on Friday to lead the Franklin Academy boys to an 8-2 non-league bowling win over Northeastern Clinton at Bowl Mart Lanes. Meanwhile, the Franklin Academy girls swept their way to a 4-0 win behind Brooke Peck's 185-180-508 triple and Aimee Fleury's 191 game and 490 series.
