Ti girls, Peru boys win CVAC bowling openers

PLATTSBURGH — Jordan McKee tossed a 204-224-191-619 series at North Bowl Lanes Wednesday to lead the Ticonderoga girls to a season-opening 4-0 victory over Peru in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference bowling.

Karri Kusalonis paced the Indians with a 171-177-503 and Brittany Bushey added a 167-181-502.

For the boys, Jonathan Bowman rolled a 247-227-653 triple, while Kyle Mendofik was next with a 238-210-595 as Peru posted an 8-2 victory.

Cole Frasier tossed a 202-232-585 set and Konner Bruce a 245 game and 567 triple for the Sentinels.

AUSABLE FORKS — Ryan Douglas tossed a 226-218-247-691 series at Riverside Lanes to help lead the Beekmantown boys.

Matt Dwyer added a 213-204-608, Andrew Roberts a 233-601 and Matt Corrow a 257 game for the Eagles.

Charlie Lacy rolled a 221 game and 565 series for the Patriots, while Josh Taylor added a 195-190-554.

On the girls’ side, Paedyn Mattioli’s 184 game and 520 triple, and Harley Wells’ 203 game and 519 series powered the Beekmantown girls. Marissa Prentiss led the Patriots with a 147 game and 382 triple.

Tyler Bridge’s 190-200-542 scores were high for the Warriors.

Brianna Smith tossed a 177 game and 473 series, while Maddie Dumas added a 166 game and 451 triple as the NCCS girls tied their match.

Willsboro’s top scores were a 159 game and 405 series by Gabi Yeager.
