Franklin Academy boys, girls roll past NCCS bowlers

ROUSES POINT — Jon Brown tossed a 235 game and 618 series on Friday to lead the Franklin Academy boys to an 8-2 non-league bowling win over Northeastern Clinton at Bowl Mart Lanes.

William Griffin added a 230 game and 588 triple for the Huskies.

Joey Robert rolled the top scores for the Cougars with a 213-202-578.

Meanwhile, the Franklin Academy girls swept their way to a 4-0 win behind Brooke Peck’s 185-180-508 triple and Aimee Fleury’s 191 game and 490 series.

Devin Gosselin’s 174 was high for the NCCS girls.
