Ticonderoga sweeps PHS in CVAC bowling

TICONDEROGA — The Ticonderoga boys’ and girls’ bowling teams each recorded a sweep over Plattsburgh High in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference play Tuesday.

On the boys’ side, the Sentinels earned a 10-0 win. Cole Frazier had a match-high 195-179-259-633 series.

Connor Lauzon and Gavin Fleury were also significant contributors for Ticonderoga, rolling a 171-218-178-567 and 192-148-202-542 series, respectively.

Ryan Beebie led the charge for the Hornets, rolling a 147-187-157-491. Matt Stevens added a 140-156-180-476.

Cassidy McKee was a standout for the Sentinels in their 4-0 blanking in girls’ play. McKee fired a 171-165-184-520 series, while Cheyanne Tuthill (160-156-191-507) and Katie LaPeter (192-131-180-503) each eclipsed the 500 mark.

Brooke Marbut (140-165-179-484) and Jessica Shaffer (128-154-184-466) went 1-2 for Plattsburgh High in the loss.
