B'town, Ti, NCCS post sweeps in bowling

PLATTSBURGH — Beekmantown had a strong, balanced attack, led by Ryan Douglas (651), Matt Dwyer (639) and Ryan Munson (639) in its 9-1 Champlain Valley Athletic Conference boys’ bowling victory over Peru Monday.

The Eagles had eight bowlers in all bowl 514 or better. James St. Denis (585), Dennon Walantus (584), Andrew Roberts (573), Matt Corrow (545) and Austin Delisle (514) all had a strong afternoon for Beekmantown.

Kyle Mendofik led all bowlers with a 691 series for the Indians. Jonathan Bowman added a 690 series, while Nate Tuller finished with a 524.

Harley Wells helped the Eagle girls capture a 4-0 win against Peru with a 578 series.

Taylor LaValley (524) and Paedyn Mattioli (519) chipped in for the Indians.

Brittany Bushey led the way for Peru with a 526 series.

PLATTSBURGH — The Sentinels had five bowlers cross the 500-point series, led by Konner Bruce’s 594, in their defeat of the Chiefs.

Cole Frasier tossed a 541 series, followed by Jordan Millington (536), Howard Fuller (530) and Joe Johns (500). Bruce threw a 223 game, while Millington had a 204.

Saranac was led by Dalton Exford’s 456 series.

Jeanette Coon paced the Ticonderoga girls to a 4-0 sweep of the Chiefs with a 507 series, including a 202 game.

Jordan McKee added a 507, while Cassidy McKee tossed a 472.

Taylor Duquette earned a triplicate with three 117 games.

Yeager also tossed a 226 game for Willsboro. Alyson Arnold chipped in with a 434 series.

Toni Cross rolled a 401 series to lead AuSable Valley.

Josh Taylor threw a 492 series as the Patriots knocked off the Warriors.

Dakoda Latford (479) and Connor Sheehan (478) paced the way for Willsboro.

MINEVILLE — Chris Kokes led balanced scoring by the Cougars with a 592 series in their win against the Vikings.

Justin Lapan had a career-best 225 game and 572 series to chip in for Northeastern Clinton. Matt Jolicoeur (508), Morgan Wyatt (536), James Lapierre (559) and Josh Frenya (531) all stood out for the Cougars.

Dustin Gangi paced Moriah with a 460 series, while Tom Rancour (428) and Tanner Conley (435) both chipped in.

Brianna Smith paced the Northeastern Clinton girls with a 457 series.
