Roberts, Wells lead Beekmantown to sweep of Saranac

PLATTSBURGH — Andrew Roberts tossed a 245-265-696 series and Matt Dwyer a 215-225-219-659 set as the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference champion Beekmantown boys’ bowling team blanked Saranac, 10-0, at North Bowl Lanes.

James St. Denis added a 257-213-616 triple and Ryan Munson a 201-234-611 for the Eagles.

The Chiefs were led by Chris Fall with a 245-204-648 set.

Harley Wells fired a 221-229-631 series to power the first-place Beekmantown girls to their shutout. Paedyn Mattioli added a 213 game and 554 series, while Alyza Agoney rolled a 216 game and Taylor Lavalley, a 206.

Alissa Aquila’s 142 game and 397 triple for Saranac.

Brittany Bushey’s 200 game and 513 series helped the Peru girls split four points with the Warriors.

Gabi Yeager’s 196 game and 505 triple, along with Alyson Arnold’s 469 series, led the way for Willsboro.

PLATTSBURGH — Jordon Millington rolled a 571 set, while teammate Howard Fuller added a 539 series as the Ticonderoga boys’ bowling team knocked of Plattsburgh High, 6-4.

Nick Dodd and Josh Shaffer rolled a 626 and 610 series in the loss.

Jordan McKee’s 533 game helped the Ticonderoga girls’ team complete the clean sweep of the Hornets.

Emily Rohrig (574) and Brooke Marbut (468) paced Plattsburgh High.
