Seton Catholic 29, Ticonderoga 24

PLATTSBURGH — Kelli Ryan fired 14 points, while teammate Paige Spittler added 10 and the Knights pulled away in the closing stages.

The Sentinels had two chances to score in the final seconds of the fourth stanza but were unable to finish at the rim.

“We executed plays, but our shooting percentage wasn’t up to par,” Ticonderoga coach Shelly Young said. “Our team’s inability to get to the free-throw line really hurt us. Seton Catholic kept working hard and pulled ahead late in the final seconds.”

Kylie Austin paced the Sentinels with eight markers in the 5-point loss.
