NEW YORK CITY — Northeastern Clinton's Mallory Honan takes 14th in triple jump and 17th in the 60-meter hurdles at New Balance Indoor Track and Field Nationals.
ITHACA — Ticonderoga's Jay Hebert won his preliminary heat, his semifinal race and the finals to claim the state title in the 55-meter hurdles at the NYSPHSAA Indoor Track and Field Championships held Saturday at Cornell University.
PLATTSBURGH — The Ticonderoga boys and Plattsburgh girls claimed the Section VII titles at the Plattsburgh State Field House -- the girls cruising to victory and the boys winning by a hair. Meanwhile in Canton, the Franklin Academy boys and girls won the Section X indoor track titles.
CANTON — Franklin Academy led all local high school indoor track and field programs Saturday at the North Country Invitational held at St. Lawrence University with a first-place finish on the boys' side and a third-place finish on the girls' side.

NEW HAVEN, Conn. — Mallory Honan of Northeastern Clinton took fourth in the girls' 55-meter hurdles at the 31st-Annual Yale Interscholastic Track Classic Saturday. She also competed in the long jump. Athletes from Seton Catholic and Peru were also on hand at the meet.
PLATTSBURGH — Jay Hebert leads the Sentinel boys to victory with three wins, while the Hornet girls are paced by Claire Deshaies three victories in CVAC indoor track and field.
HANOVER, N.H. — Mallory Honan broke the Section VII record in the preliminaries and the finals at the 44th-Annual Dartmouth Relays held at Dartmouth College Saturday. She wound up second in the event to Betsey Garnick of Bishop Guertin High School in Nashua, N.H. (8.29 seconds).
