Peru boys, Lake Placid girls in line for title repeats

The Indians and Blue Bombers took home the CVAC titles a season ago in boys' and girls' tennis, and in 2014 will look to retain their titles.

Saranac's Shawn Bissonette and Lake Placid's Georgia O'Leary were each named the All-Star Team at No. 1 singles; Taylor Higgins/Anna Mitchell from Peru and McKenna Hunter/Adam Khater of Northeastern Clinton were named No. 1 in doubles.

Peru closes CVAC tennis with 5-0 defeat of Beekmantown

PERU — The Peru Indians wrapped up a 6-2 season Tuesday with a 5-0 win over Beekmantown in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference girls' tennis.
